One Huguenot’s Flight from Religious Persecution Creates the Bondurant Family in America

Garden of the Gods Trading Post - Colorado Springs, CO
The 2002 BFA Annual Meeting was held at the Garden of the Gods Trading Post in Colorado Springs, CO. Our hosts were David & Judy Bondurant. This annual meeting included presentations on the Westward movement of Bondurant families from Virginia through the Cumberland Gap to Kentucky and the West. It described the founding of Bondurant, IA and Bondurant, WY, two towns founded by our Bondurant ancestors. The group saw Colorado Springs sites like the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. They had dinner at Flying W Ranch and had Cowboy music show by Flying W Wranglers.
